One company, two halves.
Locomotion Digital, LLC is a Missouri limited liability company. It runs a studio in St. Louis and a gear site that reaches rather further than St. Louis does.
The studio
Soulard Content Studio
Multicam video podcasts, studio-quality audio and post-production, in a room laid out for conversation rather than for equipment. Sessions are quoted per project, and you leave with your files.
The name is where the locomotives come from. Locomotion Digital took its name from the streamliners, and the studio is laid out the way they were designed: worked out on paper first, in full, before anything got built.
The other half
Rigboom
Complete content-creator kits, specified as whole systems rather than lists of products — every part, every cable, which port it goes in, and what breaks if you get it wrong. Three budgets, from a first camera to a multi-camera studio.
It is the answer to the question the studio gets asked most: what should I buy for my own setup?
How we work
Quote first, promise second.
You will not find a rate card here, and you will not find a turnaround guarantee attached to a job nobody has looked at yet. Both get set for your session, in writing, before you commit to anything.
It is a slower way to publish a website and a considerably better way to avoid disappointing someone who drove across town.
